24 karat gold vermeil oval earrings. These earrings are entirely handmade. My starting materials consist of sterling silver sheet metal and wire. Gold vermeil is a highly tarnish resistant material; a thick layer of gold is put over sterling silver. Unlike gold plated metals, gold vermeil will not tarnish or change colors.
